Hello all! I just wanted to make a post explaining whose page this is. This page is my father and brother Mike and Joe Silliboy. Yes, we are related to Richard Silliboy, he would be mine and my brother Great Uncle. Dads Uncle. However, my dad’s dad Joe Silliboy taught my father to make baskets in 1996 before my grandfather passed away. I made this page MaryAnn for my father years ago, to reach those who still have the love of traditional made Indigenous baskets. I get a lot of messages asking if this is Richard’s page, however it is not. I am sorry, if you’re trying to get in touch with Richard but this is my father’s and brothers page. My dad makes the traditional baskets when he has the chance, him and my brother work full time as construction workers who remodel houses and they do beautiful work. My brother makes the more intricate baskets as you have recently seen posted. I myself make dream catchers and I have my own fb page that you’re more than welcome to follow. Blissful Dreams . I am happy to continue to answer any questions you have and give you my best answer. However, I am not on until late at night, I have my own little family that I am busy with during the day. Welcome to our page! I hope to continue to get the traffic and the awesome messages! I absolutely love seeing old baskets that were made.
Woliwon!
Smudges to you and your family!
