Started by poet Bud Kenny, the first Wednesday Night Poetry open mic was held February 1, 1989, and since that fateful night, WNP has not missed a single week of poetry in historic downtown Hot Springs National Park since, over 1850 weeks in a row. Thought to be the longest running consecutive weekly open mic series in the country, WNP is currently hosted by Hot Springs Poet Laureate, author, and
teaching artist Kai Coggin. Every Wednesday, 6:30pm - 9:00pm
