Troupe 78 leadership attended the Arkansas Thespian Fall Planning Meeting today at The Center for the Arts in Russellville. We prepared for another fantastic year with and we can’t wait for Festival in February!

Today, we celebrate our own John Sullivan! Now an alumni of our troupe, John is headed to Dobbins Conservatory to pursue a BFA in acting at Southeastern Missouri State University. We have no doubt he will continue to enlighten and embolden any space he’s in, and we will miss him on our stage! Help us wish him a Happy 18th Birthday today!

We missed Mady’s birthday yesterday so help us celebrate her today! Mady is so funny and bright, and we love how she brings such attention to detail in every show or scene she is apart of. She takes direction well and we are a stronger troupe because of her! We love you Mady! Hope you had a great Birthday!

Today, we celebrate the birthday of James Nehus! Jay is incredibly talented, but what is even more commendable about this young man is his brilliance on and off stage, as well as his kindness and insight. His discourse and in-depth study of all perspectives involved both in a production or even in troupe meetings is undeniably valuable and always shared respectfully. He is supportive and friendly to those he works with, especially with his directors. He is truly one of the most dynamic and valuable members of our troupe. We love you, Jay! Happy Birthday!

History in our City was a success! We had fun showcasing the hard work of our performers, and of course our playwrights who wrote pieces based on citizens of the past from our beautiful city! Happy 150th anniversary, Hot Springs!
