Live Music tonight at Centennial Park!😊
Come join us for a fun night of FREE music and dancing (for those brave enough to show off their moves)! The FIRST CONCERT of the Chamber's 2nd Annual Rockin' Riverside Summer Concert Series is TOMORROW at 7PM in Centennial Park.
The Lonely Rangers Band is led by Hot Springs’ hometown son Ross Johnson, who boasts one of the finest singing voices in the Black Hills! He is backed by brothers Johnny Sundby (guitar/mando) and Bobby Sundby (drums), plus lead guitarist Rob Wechsler, as well as bassist Jambo Kirst. All the guys sing in this band!
The Rapid City group plays country-rock dance tunes, cowboy songs, and mellow ballads from the 1970’s to today featuring nice harmonies and an acoustic sound that is easy to listen to. And not too loud!
They are a Black Hills perennial favorite and have performed more than 800 gigs since their first gig 28 years ago. The Lonely Rangers have performed at Rapid City Summer Nights, Central State Fair, Spearfish Friday Nights, The Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup, and Deadwood Wild Bill Days among others, and have opened for the likes of: Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Alabama, Night Ranger, Blood Sweat & Tears, and Jefferson Starship.
Bring a friend, lawn chair, and a light jacket and we look forward to seeing you there!
