Here’s a time lapse of a vintage-y (1990/2000s) table I’ve been refinishing!

I don’t even want to think about all of the time I’ve put into it, but it was $40 on marketplace for a wood table and 6 press back chairs; kind of hard to beat!

And yes, I touched up those parts I missed at the end 😅

Another crocheted garment finished! I used lion brand’s coboo yarn and it is SO soft and lightweight! One of my biggest annoyances with crochet garments is that they can be bulky and restrictive. I have found that using thinner, natural yarns and then steaming the garment afterwards helps it to drape nicely and feel great! What do you think?

Finally finished the portrait I have been slowly working on of my Zachy. I hadn’t done a proper drawing in at least a year. Life is busy, and being a stay at home mom to two toddlers means that working on this portrait took many, many 1 hour here-and-there sessions. Every time I pick up my pencils and work on something, I’m reminded how much I love it.

Have been working on something on and off the last few months. I’m always keeping my hands busy- whether it be tending to my home and my boys, crocheting, working in the garden, or drawing this portrait of my second child, I’m always working on something.

Hoping to work on making some pieces for local craft fairs to have in my inventory soon, but it’s also nice to just work at my own pace for a season just creating what I’d like to.
