Words of wisdom for young dancers?
Don't be hard on yourself, nobody is perfect! It's ok not too always get 1st place! There will be other competitions to try your best. Don't forget to let your body heal when it's hurt.
Favorite dance story or memory?
Last year at our only junior competition we got to go to a restaurant after competing and I got my first bacon cheeseburger and the rest is a love story.
Funny dance moment?
My first dance competition in Alexandria last year in pom I was supposed to do 6 al a secondes and only did 2 and Danielle told me if I fell out of my turn just stand there in a low v and smile. P.S. I was in the front with 2 other girls and they got there al a secondes!
What have you learned from being in dance/Just for Kix that you will carry into your future?
It's ok to fail. You don't have to be perfect all the time.
Thank you statements
I want to thank my parents for being supportive and dealing with my sassy attitude on competition days. I want to thank Landon(boyfriend) and his family for pushing me to be the best and supporting me. I would also like to thank Kara for bringing me to to some of my competitions. Also thank you for stepping in to coach when Danielle cant. I want to thank Ashley (Lilys mom) for making me feel welcome and being supportive. She has helped me with my hair when my mom cant and i love how shes always stuck up for me. I want to say thank you to my team mates for showing me what true friendships look like. Last but not least my favorite coach ever, Danielle! Even on her hardest days she still showed up and pushed us to do our best and had a smile on her face. I love how she always looks on the brightside of things. She is like a second mother to our dance team! Our team wouldn't be the team we are today without her.
Please join us in congratulating Trinity and wishing her all the best in her next adventure! 🩷🩵
