Will be open through June 14th

I am deeply saddened to report that Winter's Edge Gallery is forced to close our doors. We got into this with the hope of making a gallery that would support local artists and makers and be a place to for people in our own community who might otherwise struggle to get visibility and who want to make friends.

We heard it a lot and experienced it... "There isn't anything to do in our area" and we wanted to change that. We offered classes, had gatherings and parties, and still had a booth presence at events outside our store. We have celebrated a few holidays together like our epic Thanksgiving and game night, had a few birthday parties, and a few gala openings. All of these have brought in amazing makers and appreciators of art. We added art and craft supplies and tried to make a place of belonging full of warmth.

Along the way, we have met so many helpful, wonderful people. We have made friends we would otherwise never have met. I am humbled by the joy you all have brought to the store and to my own, personal life. I will always remember this pretty, little space that you all helped make into a real home. I have nothing but love for our community. Thank you for a wonderful year.

We will continue to be open through June 14th so please come on by and say hello.

Thanks to you we made it! We are at Folklife at booth TCO1! Thank you to every one who helped get us here! We hope to make you proud!

The store is still open this weekend and there is a sale! Most of our art is at the show but ALL of our art supplies are at the store. 20% off all BEADS are art supplies Fri-Sun.

WE MADE OUR GOAL! And we are getting ready to set up our booth today at Folklife Festival. Your contributions got us to this event! Food, gas, supplies, and lodgings were all paid for by our friends and neighbors so we could represent Grays Harbor County at this huge event in Seattle! Thank you so much!

Thank you to some folks that stopped in to give us some personal cheerleading and to help get us over the line for our goal! Carrie Joy and Rodney King... you have really made our day. Rodney is also watching the store this weekend while we are here in Seattle. Thank a bunch!

As you may have heard we made it into Folklife Festival in Seattle. It was very unexpected as we were chosen from 600 applicants on a waiting list. It was MAGICAL!

The show is HUGE with 250,000 attendees and requires travel for 3 people. With your help we can make it!

Please share... FRIDAY is $10 day! It's an easy way for you to help us.

As you know, our art for Winter's Edge Gallery was chosen over 600 other applicants to sell at Folklife! Getting there to sell to those quarter million attendees who go every year is expensive. But with your we are getting there!

Over the weekend we crept over my little goal of 1k. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed, shared, and is cheering us on. I have other mini goals to allow us to hit the show successfully!

Here's our expense list to get to another goal.

Gas $1000. DONE!!
Food for 4 people: $500
Lodging: $300

After this is reached, I need more supplies for the booth and stock to ensure we have enough for so many people. But this initial $1800 will get us there!!!!
