Mahbubeh's Antiques We are an antique store with collectibles as well. The idea is to appreciate objects of the past & t etc.

We have a diverse collection of antique and vintage items to choose from, such as: .used books, antique tables, chairs, jewelry, kitchen items, frames, lace & linens, glassware & ceramics, lamps, vintage posters, pocketbooks, foot stools, old photographs, reproductions, handmade/handsewn items, quilts, old buttons, watch chains, brass lamps, cookie jars, teapots, games, some clothes items, old tins, etc. Our items are almost always unique, so if you have your eye on something, it may be the only time we'll have it in the store! Feel free to come in and simply browse around, you never know what you may come across!

My sincere gratitude to the Peto Studio Museum in Island Heights, New Jersey and curator Harry Bowles, for selecting George’s work to be featured in this beautiful show ‘Still Life meets Trompe L’oeil, the Art of Noticing’. Congratulations to all the artists whose works were beautifully represented, showing their love of painting, looking at the world around us, and as the title says ‘noticing’. My gratitude to all the people at the museum; the board, staff, members, volunteers, donors, docents, etc. and everyone behind the scenes in this community who did so much to make this event so special and we’re so kind, gracious and friendly to me at the opening. My daughter Shirin and I were so grateful to have been there and we sincerely thank everyone involved who made this exhibition happen.

So grateful to Harry Bowles, artist and curator, and all the kind and gracious people on the board, docents and everyone that contributed in making the opening of this exhibit: Still Life Meets Trompe L’Oeil, the Art of Noticing, yesterday so beautiful and memorable.

I’m honored George’s work was featured with such care and in such a wonderfully welcoming environment, with other interesting artists and in such a gem of space at the John F. Peto Studio Museum.
It’s heartwarming to see a community come together to share artists voices and visions, and to be able to expose others to the beauty of seeing the world around us in different ways.

I hope many of you will get to visit the exhibition in Island Heights, NJ, which will run till the 15th of December.

We are happy to announce that George’s work will be featured in this group show: Still Life meets Trompe L’oeil: The Art of Noticing. It runs from September 20th-December 13th at the wonderful Peto Museum in Island Heights, NJ.
I hope some of you might be able to make it; it’s a delightful studio museum!
