I have officially stolen the 2 ultra poseable skeletons we got to decorate the treat tent with. They have now joined the ranks of the other undead skeletal minions reaping havoc in the cemetery.

A comment just made me dream up the ultimate fog machine setup. Use a 330 gallon IBC chemical tote as the water box, put about 2ft of water in there, 3 or 4 12 head misters and do 2 inlets up top for 2 fog machines to alternate 15 second blasts of fog every 60 seconds so you would get fog entering every 30 seconds. Continuous non-stop fog that would blanket the entire neighborhood! The top cap is big enough to slip the misters in there and the wires could be routed through a grommet in the cap. The cage would make it easy to mount a platform for the fog machines to sit on top. Put the inlets up top and the outlet (more than one?!) about midway up the tank so unmixed fog would be more likely to stay up top while the mixed goodness gets pulled out from below. THEME PARK SIZED INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH ULTRASONIC GROUND FOG!!!!

BTW, it just so happens that I DO know a place where I could possibly get an IBC tank for free or cheap if I asked the right person so this idea is extremely tempting. About the only thing stopping me from trying it is the expense of 3 12 head misters lol.

The display will be on again tonight until 10. No ground fog or spider projections (still too wet) but everything else will be on. Come on by and see us!

The display will be on tonight until 11, minus fog and spider projections, as long as the wind and rain aren't too bad. If things get too wet or windy we will shut it down.

Looking good for full effects tonight (Friday Oct. 9th), but tomorrow is going to be iffy because of the weather. Rain and wind is expected Saturday night and into most of Sunday. We will run as much as we can, for as long as we can on Saturday, but there will be no ground fog due to the wind. Sunday may be a complete wash depending on how the storm hits us overnight and through the day. Fingers crossed!

Best bet for this weekend is to come by and see us tonight. Sundown till 11

Our display schedule for the month of October -

Mon-Thurs - All lights, projections and animatronics running from around 7pm till 10pm We may turn things on a little earlier, but the projections won't run until it's dark enough, around 7

Fri/Sat/Sun - All effects running weather permitting. Full audio, fog effects and lanterns 7pm till 11pm (10pm on Sunday)

Halloween Night - Full effects, extra volume and the Trick or Treat tent will be set up in the driveway for the kids. This year's display was set up so that it wraps around the driveway to give visitors more to see when they come to Trick or Treat. No scares other than the display. We will probably be in costume, but not to scare people. We will run from the start of the Hopewell City designated Trick or Treat hours and close when the kids stop coming or the candy runs out. (Usually around 9 - 9:30pm) We had around 450 visitors on Halloween night last year! Lets try and top it this year!

Please watch for traffic and stay in the street and end of our driveway to view the display. No visitors are allowed into the display due to the cords, wires and fragile nature of some of the props.

We are officially at 100% set up now! Finished fixing and setting up the ultrasonic fog machine today and did a test run this evening. After hooking up the new blower I got busy fixing the 4 mister heads that were showing diminished or no function. Popped in 4 new ones and got 3 of them fully working again. The 4th is still not working well, but I can live with it. The fog tube had a series of splits in it I had to tape up. I'm pretty sure this will be the last year for that one. The breeze settled down at sunset and let me get a good test of the low fog tonight.

We went to Spirit Halloween today. Always a fun visit! Saw a few things I liked but didn't get anything.
