HOW DO NJ LIQUOR LAWS AFFECT YOUR VENUE?

Governor Murphy has proposed opening up more liquor licenses in New Jersey, as current licenses are limited and price gouged.

Please share with us how having a liquor license or not helped or hindered your live theater organization or business. Take our short poll: http://ow.ly/e4O050MMgZ2

We will be sharing the data from this poll with the Governor's office to inform them how this hot issue affects our vital performing arts industry in the state.

As you may know, NJIVA and ArtPride NJ are advocating for a 70 million dollar ARP relief bill for the arts, S2800/A4233, which will dedicate ARP funds to our creative industries. This bill includes funding for nonprofit and for-profit arts.

The State of New Jersey Governor's team took live testimony on the use of ARP funds on Monday, August 22. They continued to welcome more detailed written testimony. With responses from over 10% of our venues regarding how they are doing financially post-pandemic, we reported to the Governor's team how these funds could help our industry.

You can read the full NJIVA testimony for ARP funding that was submitted to the Governor's Office here: http://ow.ly/G5wZ50Kyow0

Please help us by taking this survey. All responses will be confidential and included as part of a statistical report for NJIVA advocacy purposes only. http://ow.ly/h6Rm50HMeLf
