And that’s a wrap on this amazing story brought to life by this amazing cast!! We all became a family throughout the process and closed the year out strong! We raised a ton of money for Elizabeth and her kids and donated tons of food! Thank you to all that donated, came and the people who helped along the way you are all amazing! Thanks to you her family can have a awesome and comfortable Christmas this year!

*CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT*

We are proud to introduce everyone to Irene White who will be playing Katy!!

Irene White is a 6th grader at Southampton Academy. Irene's love of theater dates back to 2017 when she first performed in Fiddler on the Roof Jr., a Kidkapers Production at Fort Lee Theater. Since that time, she has acted in numerous productions at Fort Lee Theater. A few of her favorite parts were Amelia Goose in The Aristocats and Barnacle in Honk Jr. This past summer Irene appeared as Amy March in Little Women with The Phantom Players. She also tackled the role of Alice and Little Kid Ensemble in Matilda Jr. at Swift Creek Mill Theatre. If Irene is not on stage, she can be found dancing at the Virginia Academy of Dance, drawing or playing with Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, her Shih Tzu

*CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT*

We are proud to introduce everyone to Marcella (Mars) White who will be playing Jimmie!!

Lillian Marcella White, she/her is a 5th grader at Southampton Academy. She is quite the Thespian; she last appeared on the stage as Matilda in Matilda Jr. at the Swift Creek Mill Theatre. She started her acting journey in 2017 with an ensemble role in Fiddler on the Roof Jr. a Kidkapers production at The Theater Company at Fort Lee. Since that first role, Lillian Marcella has performed in numerous productions at the Fort Lee Theater. A few of her favorite parts were Abigail Goose in The Aristocats and Snowy in Honk Jr. Last December, she graced the Dominion Energy Center's stage in the Richmond Ballet's Nutcracker as both a mouse and a white lamb. When she is not on the stage; Marcella enjoys reading and training Lauren Bacall & Zelda Fitzgerald, her Shih Tzus.

We are proud to introduce everyone to Kelly Aughenbaugh who will be playing Officer ( #3)!!

Kelly is very excited to join this wonderful cast in Belongings! She has performed in many shows including Audrey in Little Shop of Horror’s. She was also apart of a touring Shakespearean group that traveled to various locations to perform! Most recently she performed as Mrs Gulch/The Wicked Witch of the West in LSSP’s The Other Side of Oz. From Fire dancing to being awesome at Witch Cackling she has almost done it all. Kelly’s love of theatre will never fade, and looks forward to performing in many more shows!

We are proud to introduce everyone to Connie Sparks who will be playing Renny!!

Connie is very excited to join this wonderful cast in Belongings. She has played some varying roles such as Molly in Mousetrap, Charlotte (crazy therapist) in Beyond Therapy and her favorite as Ouiser (Weezer) in Steel Magnolias. Her most recent role was Hannah in LittleWomen.

She wholeheartedly wants to thank her family for allowing her to miss Burger Friday's and many other meals!

We are proud to introduce everyone to Lea Brooks who will be playing Aunt Gene!!

After thinking that graduating college meant the end of her acting, Lea Brooks (Gene) ended up getting involved again about 7 years ago. And Thank Goodness she did, or else
she would have missed out on the chance to work on this great show with this amazing cast. She has done several productions with CCT and the Phantom Players, most recently in the American Girl shows. In her spare time, Lea likes to insist her Nintendo is cheating when she plays, care for her pack of neurotic critters each with weird health issues, and chase her ultimate goal...finally remembering to submit one of these bios on time. It hasn't happened yet, but never give up on your dreams.

We are proud to introduce everyone to Kathy Dowling who will be playing Aunt Ella!!

Kathy Dowling is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful cast. A theater late-comer, she first appeared onstage just 6 years ago as Marilla in Anne of Green Gables (Chesterfield Children's Theater - CCT) The proverbial theater bug bit and she hasn’t looked back. She's appeared in a number of productions with CCT and The Phantom Players. Most recently she was onstage in Kiss Me Kate (The Theater Company at Fort Lee). She also loves working backstage. Thanks to the US Government, she and her family have been blessed to live on three continents. She loves all things Disney and the Chicago Cubs. Many thanks to Bran for the chance to perform in this touching show. Thanks to her husband, Mike, for his love & support!

We are proud to introduce everyone to Cynthia White who is playing the late Grandma Dorothy! Now you may not see her on stage but she is a very important character and there wouldn’t be a show without her!

Cynthia is an educator who has taken a break from the classroom to focus on her family. She enjoys writing, reading, and films from the golden ago of cinema. She is honored to be part of the Belongings cast and hopes this is the first of many roles to come!

We are proud to introduce everyone to Melissa Dear and Victoria Sparks who will be both playing the Police Officer!

Victoria Sparks:
This is Victoria’s first time performing for Long Story Short Productions and her 3rd play performance. Her first performance was for a high school play called “Saturday Night Fever.” And recently was Sallie Moffatt in Little Woman. She’s excited to act along side with her mum again (Aka Renny) and is new to Richmond area. For fun Victoria likes to travel, dog sit, take photos and to play the piano.

Melissa Dear:
Melissa has been in numerous shows with her children , Victoria and Ashton. When not acting or directing for the stage she can be seen in several short films with CCT, Phantom Players and Long Story Short Productions. On Sunday mornings she teaches a kids Bible class at her church.
