A quick look at what your Juneteenth Freedom Fest NYC experience could look like…

The week before the festival, Dad locked in free tickets for the whole family. By the time they made it to Harlem, the plaza was already packed with music, culture, food, and nonstop energy.

The family hit the merch booth, grabbed food from one of the Black owned vendors, and then the kids made their way to the Kids Zone while the parents ran into old friends throughout the festival. From the performances to the community vibes, the whole day felt like one big family reunion celebrating Black joy and freedom.

And before they even left, the kids were already asking:
“Can we come back next year?”
