DJ Mike Rutkowski started DJing in the Franklin, Massachusetts area as a fourteen year old in 1989 for Catholic Youth Organization dances working to pay off the equipment a sponsor purchased for him. Since then, he has evolved into an interactive entertainer, not simply playing music, but engaging everyone who attends an event he is at, whether it be a school event, a fundraiser, a road race, a 65
th or a 4th birthday party. He now lives in Hopedale and has expanded the area he DJ’s in to include much of Central and Southeastern Massachusetts as well as Metrowest. He is a one-man show, a local small business with only an assistant to help him with bookings. In addition to DJing, he is a dad to three kids who are used to light shows in the living room and cool playlists on their iPods. He gives back to the community, hosting an egg hunt in Hopedale each spring with games, prizes, and over 5000 stuffed eggs. Mike’s speciality is helping you organize the event. He serves as M.C., party coordinator, and entertainment all rolled into one. He makes it so that you can actually enjoy the event you put all kinds of time into planning.
