With support from a $12,500 Grassroots Arts Project Grant, Artist Village Community Theatre is stepping into an ambitious 2026–27 season filled with firsts, from dark comedy and a traveling holiday production to a show created specifically for young performers.

“Blue Marlin” is short, about 120 pages, each filled with Lee Smith’s warm and sympathetic storytelling gifts and characters who reach out and remind us of people we knew growing up. It was released April 21, 2020 and is sure to ease the discomfort of our confinement while social distancing.
