🏕️❤️ We came, we danced, we laughed way too hard, and now we're wondering how it's already over.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Stompin' Sue & the Other Ones Cherry Ridge Line Dance Weekend!

Every year we look forward to this weekend, and every year it somehow manages to exceed our expectations. There is just something special about spending a weekend dancing, laughing, sitting around campfires, and making memories with both old friends and new ones.

This year Sue, Samantha, Melissa, and Jean taught a full day of lessons on Saturday, while Norm and Miss Mary kept the dance floor moving all weekend long. Thank you to everyone who came out and learned with us, requested dances, stayed up way too late, and helped make the weekend so much fun.

And can we talk about Saturday night's An Evening at the Races party? We had derby glamour, race day fanatics, kart racers, Tour de France enthusiasts, a Turtle and a Hare who may or may not still be settling their rivalry, and enough creative interpretations of "race" to make us laugh all night long. And yes... Norm showed up dressed as a race horse, which somehow surprised absolutely no one and everyone at the same time. 🐴😂

One of the things we love most about Cherry Ridge is that it never feels like just another dance weekend. It's a reunion. It's a chance to catch up with friends we only see a few times a year, make new friends, and spend a weekend making memories together.

We usually leave Cherry Ridge with ribs that hurt more than our feet from laughing so hard all weekend.

Thank you to everyone who traveled near and far to be part of it. You are what makes this weekend so special.

We’re excited to see so many familiar names, friends, dancers, DJs, choreographers, instructors, and events recognized in this year’s THE LINELIGHT AWARDS™ nominations! 💃✨

A huge congratulations to our very own DJ Tom “Norm” Daly on being nominated — such a well-deserved honor and a wonderful recognition of the time, energy, and heart he brings to the dance floor week after week. We’re proud to see him, along with so many talented members of the line dance community from all over North America, being celebrated. ❤️

One of the best parts of our dance world is how many people work behind the scenes to keep this community growing — DJs, choreographers, event directors, instructors, volunteers, and dancers alike. Recognition matters, and it’s really nice to see a platform dedicated to highlighting the people and events that make line dancing special.
