We want everyone who comes to the Skylight Drafthouse Theater to have the best movie going experience possible. How it works. First you buy your ticket. We open the theater 45 minutes before the first show of the day. Tickets are available for all the shows for that day, but we do not sell tickets for any day but the current day. Yes you can come and buy your tickets early for a later show but all
this means is that you have seats for that show. Show up just before the show and you may not find two seats together or anywhere except the front row. We recommend you show up at least 30 minutes before show time especially if you are planning on enjoying some of our great pizza and one of our award winning cold Northwest draft beers. On busy weekend nights or for movies that everyone is raving about we even recommend you show up earlier then 30 minutes. We have limited seating. Showing up just 10 minutes before a film is scheduled to start you may find the theater is already sold out. The good stuff – Pizza and Beer
Yes, we do make everything to order so be patient. Your movie may not be sold out but another one might have or we may have a cook who called in sick. Things happen that sometimes delay food delivery. Please work with us and be patient. So there are times where it could take longer then you may be expecting to get your food to you. If you come in starving and we are already backed up with orders you may want to tide yourself over with small popcorn till your food arrives. Sit back and enjoy the film. We will bring your meal as soon as it is ready. On-line ordering is soon to be available so you will be to have your food order waiting once you arrive. Please don’t enter the theater until we have finished cleaning. We can clean a theater much faster and do a better job when it is empty. If you are early and want to get in and get your seat, start lining up by the doors. If people are already lined up, find your spot in line the doors will open soon. Come early in the week if you would like it less busy
No Talking - No Texting - No Cell Phones
When you are at the theater you are one of many people in the auditorium and once the movie has started and the lights go down the movie fans want to get lost in the movie and enjoy the show distraction free. If you feel the need to talk you will be warned once and the second time you will be asked to leave. If you feel the need to text you will be warned once and the second time you will be asked to leave. If you feel the need to take a phone call you will be warned once and the second time you will be asked to leave. No refunds given. As someone else once said “a light from a cell phone, a screaming baby, or a disruptive teen cracking jokes all pull you out of the magic of the movies”
Our late shows are for customers 21 and over. There is no exception to this rule. If you are not 21 you will not be allowed to come to the late showings. If you look under 30 you must have I.D. to attend the late show. Even if you are not planning on drinking you must have I.D. and be over 21 years old for the late show.
