Linda here, managing our gallery today and packaging up my newest prints that just arrived. Each spring I lead middle school students on a hike to learn about and find pika for an outdoor school that Friends of the Gorge produces for Washougal School District. Five days total with busloads of kids who are oh so lucky to have this opportunity. I'm also lucky that I get to be involved with this special educational project and the cutest mammal on the planet!

Linda Steider spent a week on the southern Oregon Coast where she captured these sweet Harbor Seals just as they began their day at dawn. She uses a long lens and remains hidden at a respectful distance to quietly capture these family interactions. Stop by today while she manages our gallery to see her latest images. Steider Studios
