If you want to join the parade, online registration has closed. But there's still time to join! Please arrive at Elliot St @ 9am for in-person registration. This year's entry fee is FREE.

This is a friendly reminder that personal fireworks are banned throughout Hood River, including the Hood River sandbar.

The Hood River Fireworks display is a permitted show, setup, and launched by trained pyrotechnics. Our launch site at The Spit is surrounded by rock, sand, and water. We even dowse our immediate surroundings before every show.

We've used The Spit since we started in 1978, where we've remained incident free the entire time.

As such, just because we're lighting off fireworks does not mean anyone else is permitted to. The Hood River Fireworks is not encouraging any personal fireworks whatsoever.

It's our hope that you'll enjoy our show enough to not make your own.

The Hood River Lion’s Club will be hosting their annual Fourth of July Parade, and the City of Hood River encourages everyone to plan ahead and be mindful of street closures.

Street Closures:
• The parade will take place on 12th Street, starting at 12th and Pacific Ave, continuing to May Street, turning west on May Street, crossing 13th Street, and ending at Jackson Park.
• The staging area will be located at the ONE Community Health, Horizon Christian School and PNW Credit Union parking lots.
Timelines:
• Street closures begin at 8:45 AM
• The parade begins at 10:00 AM

Please plan accordingly and allow extra time for travel. We look forward to seeing you at the parade!
