Anyone from any generation of ADE/TST and beyond:

Application Open: The Willa Kim Costume Design Scholarship

Deadline: Friday, December 6, 2024 11:59pm ET. Please note the time zone.

Two recipients will receive up to $7,500 each to be used towards tuition, registration fees, supplies and/or travel expenses over a one-year period between May 31, 2025 - May 31, 2026. International study is allowable, but the scholarship will only cover tuition, registration fees, supplies and/or travel expenses to participate in extracurricular (non-credit) training in hand-drawing and/or painting.

The Willa Kim Costume Design Scholarship program is designed and administered by TCG with support from the Estate of Willa Kim.

UPDATE: The entire waitlist that was scheduled to open August-September 2024 is CLOSED until further notice. HPHA servers and systems crashed which resulted in the decision to cancel and close the waitlist. According to HPHA, all the individuals that applied the past few days their applications will be cancelled to ensure fairness and equality for everyone who was not able to apply.

$5M in Scholarships Available for Community College Students!

Last year, nearly 2,000 students across the seven UH Community Colleges received scholarships. The average award per student is over $2,100. The Hawaii Promise Scholarship has helped more than 8,600 UH community college students since the program started in 2017.
