How can simple drama strategies help transform reading into a lived experience that sticks?

Did you know April is Poetry Month? Since 2006, HTY has had the honor of being a part of Poetry Out Loud, a national poetry recitation contest for high school students that culminates in a National Final.

Help us cheer on the 2026 Poetry Out Loud Hawaiʻi Champion, Kai Gammarino, from Punahou School as he represents the 808 🤙

🎙Kai will compete in the Region 3 semifinal TODAY, April 28 at 11am HST 🎙

We have a couple spaces that opened up in our previously sold out Summer Drama Adventure program for keiki ages 7 - 9 🎭

This is a 4-week drama program that runs Monday - Friday, June 1 - 26 from 8:30am - 12:30 pm (drop off begins at 8am, pick up promptly at 12:30pm), and culminates in a final presentation for family & friends!
