For this Flashback Friday, we're spotlighting "The Very Persistent Gappers of Frip" by Doug Cooney and directed by Mark Branner in 2014. "Gappers" are silly and fun fish-like lifeforms that annoyingly stick to the back of goats, causing trouble for the people of the village Frip! This puppet musical was a wild and theatrical piece perfect for all ages to enjoy.

Premiering on stage in 2000 and directed by Kelly Williams, this compelling production exposed the isolation and dehumanization created by technology and how that affects one's identity.

For this Flashback Friday, we're looking at "Da Taming of Da Shrew," directed by Glenn Cannon in 1997. This entertaining production took a local twist on the original Shakespeare play, framing the story and characters as if they were born and raised in Honolulu.
