✨ 2026 Summer Festival & School Faculty Spotlight ✨
We’re excited to welcome back Azaliah Kekuna to the Ohana Arts ʻohana! 🌺 A versatile dancer, singer, choreographer, and educator, Azaliah will be choreographing our Musical Theatre Workshop at Hanahauʻoli School as students bring The Lion King KIDS to life this summer. 🦁🎭
Azaliah, originally from Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, is a versatile dancer, singer, choreographer, and dance teacher trained in commercial, musical theater, street, and concert dance. She is currently pursuing her BFA in Commercial Dance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, graduating in May 2028, and is a proud Mid-Pacific Institute alum. This will be her second year working with ʻOhana Arts, where she most recently co-choreographed Moana Jr.
Azaliah has trained under artists such as Anthony Burrell, Kendrick Samuel, Brandi Chun, Marcelo Pacleb, and Rachel Bertone, and continues to develop work that centers storytelling and collaboration. She has served as a dance captain, student choreographer, and dance teacher. Her experience also includes assisting with the I’m A Bright Kid Foundation and Ohana Arts summer programs, being a featured singer in the Rock-A-Hula Luau and Show, and performing in 24-7 Danceforce, I’m A Bright Kid, Diamond Head Theatre, Mid-Pacific School of the Arts, and Boston Conservatory productions. She has also choreographed and taught at 24-7 Danceforce.
Through her work, she aims to use the arts as a vehicle for storytelling, collaboration, and representation, inspiring others to see themselves reflected on stage.
