Recently voted Hawaii’s #1 Gallery and recognized among the Top 20 Galleries in the United States, KAIKOA Gallery is excited to announce that after two wonderful years at Hilton Hawaiian Village, we are relocating to an exceptional new home at Ala Moana Center.

Our Hilton Hawaiian Village location will officially close on June 14.

Here are 5 facts about Dr. Seuss:

1. His real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel.
“Dr. Seuss” was actually a pen name he created while writing and illustrating.
2. He wrote and illustrated over 60 books.
Some of his most famous include The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas!.
3. He was not actually a doctor.
The “Dr.” in his name was honorary and inspired partly by his father wanting him to study medicine.
4. Green Eggs and Ham was written using only 50 different words.
He made it as a challenge from his publisher.
5. His books have sold over 600 million copies worldwide and have been translated into many languages.
