What happened to Tattoo Artist?

A decade ago, the industry was notoriously guarded. Apprenticeships were physically and mentally demanding, sometimes resembling unpaid labor intended to w**d out those who weren't deeply committed. Today, digital education and online resources have made the trade far more accessible. The old "sink-or-swim" hazing culture has been replaced by structured learning and a focus on healthy mental health and boundary setting.

As much as I would love to teach new Artists "The ways of our ancestors" times have changed and all you can do is adapt and continue doing what we do. Create an experience that your client will carry with them for as long as they carry that piece of art, and of course the number one thing my mentor instilled on me: Take it out at the gym and not on your client.
