Reminiscing on the beautiful Kapoho Tidepools that sister Pele decided to take back from us by covering with her firey lava in 2018. 🌋I’m working on forgiving her but still it’s nothing compared to the destruction that humans cause so maybe she was trying to give humans a message? I’m grateful I got to swim in these pools with all my fish and coral friends so many times, always respecting them. Remember to only use non nano Zinc Oxide sunscreen, it’s the only kind that is reef safe. Or swim before or after the hot sun and don’t wear any sunscreen which is the best for the reef. 💙 ’o 📷 : Kenny Sevilla

I want to tell you about something very dear to my heart and about my purpose here on this beautiful planet. Did you know... I went vegetarian at age 16 and that was 21 years ago ;) then about 10 years ago, I dropped dairy and eggs too and went vegan and these were 2 of the greatest decisions I've ever made! I made these choices for the innocent animals more than anything else but as it turns out, this is also much better for the survival of our precious planet and is healthier for my body too...but I just consider the health benefits like "icing on the vegan cake" I've always been against animal cruelty and always loved animals and the environment and practicing a vegan lifestyle is simply aligning those values with my actions. I'm proud to be a .
