🚨 UPDATED LATE CANCEL POLICY 🚨 DEETS BELOW 🚨
What’s the update? Currently, our Late Cancel Policy states that if a student cancels or unenrolls from a class 4 hours or less before the class start time they will be charged a $5 fee while our Unlimited Members can cancel or unenroll w/ no fees. This policy will remain the same, but we are updating it w/ including a fee for our Unlimited Members. If an Unlimited Member cancels or unenrolls from a class 2 hours or less to the start of a class, they will be charged a $5 fee.
Whyyy?? We’ve noticed an influx of late cancellations from our Unlimited Members in our series & drop in classes. There are a few reasons why this matters. First, when you register for a class, you are taking a spot in that class. When canceling last minute, even if someone from the waitlist has been added to the class, it sometimes is too late for that person to make it to class. Second, our instructors must know how many students are going to show up for class for their specific curriculum & if the amount of students dips down under the minimum to teach a class they’ll need to cancel. If a handful of students ends up canceling right before class that instructor has already showed up to the studio early & has prepared to teach a class. We’ve had a handful of instances where classes have dipped down under the minimum or dipped all the way down to no students right before class starts leaving the instructor prepared to teach class with no students.
Out of respect for our fellow students wanting to attend classes that are full as well as our hardworking instructors time & energy, we decided this update will encourage all students to be more mindful of the Class Registration Etiquette.
When? This will go into effect immediately so be sure to register for classes only if you know you can attend & if you’re in doubt unenroll asap!
We do understand that last minute emergencies & instances do occur so if that is the case, please do contact us & let us know what happened! Although, for the most part things like time management, traffic, etc are not considered an emergency.
