Reflection, finding clarity in the noise

While walking along the streets of Waikiki, a lonely bus caught my eye, its reflection shimmering beautifully in a pool of water on the pavement. I wanted to capture it with a loose, painterly style to convey a fresh, vibrant morning feel, letting the paint flow freely to keep the piece natural and expressive. I truly enjoyed creating this artwork and hope you enjoy it as well!

Sasha

This painting was a gift to my best friend, whose fur baby passed earlier this year. This painting now sits at their memorial table for Sasha.
It is a gift to be able to physically memorialize loved ones, and I am blessed to be able to do this for those close to me. Painting is my way of empathizing and expressing love.
