Hey y’all! Go follow Jessi G's Deli & Sandwich Shop! This is the fresh deli and Sandwich shop that is opening up on the corner of Avenue M and and 18th St. in a few weeks! Their place connects to ours and we are collaborating with them by putting the work of local/regional artists on the walls. I am so excited for sandwiches to be next-door again and for wonderful neighbors and for this amazing collaboration that will allow us to continue to support TEXAS artists and by default, their families. We are always looking for new artists in the space who have established careers and are creating beautiful things that represent the south, central and west Texas area along Hwy 90 from Castroville on out to Big Bend and down to Mexico. Follow along for all the new updates on the deli and sandwich shop and the art going on the walls!

Theresa Barbara Art as a series of beautiful watercolor florals in the gallery. Flowers that can be found all over TEXAS. Some of them are super detailed and some are more loose and impressionistic, but they’re all unique and beautiful like flowers themselves. Come see them in person and check out the work of our other local South Texas artists as well!

Andrea with Andrea Zabala brings a bold colorful perspective to the animals and landscapes that we know so well. They are familiar but more vibrant and full of extra life! Acrylic on canvas in beautiful gold frames. Come by the gallery to see these beautiful pieces in person!

Kim is known for her beautiful photos but did you know she’s also a wonderful artist? She told four pieces in the gallery last week…the first was a commission piece and the other three were sketches of historic Castroville buildings. Kim does commissions and you can find her beautiful drawings and watercolors on her other account Kim and in the gallery!

Kim brings a fresh look at familiar places. The top photo was taken between Lytle and Devine and the bottom one was taken between Floresville and Stockdale. Kim captures this region in a beautiful subtle way which is exactly why I wanted her photography in the gallery. The landscape that exists not too far off Highway 90 is beautiful, especially to those who live here and his families have been here for generations. Kim’s signature pieces are beautiful canvas prints mounted in old reclaimed windows. These and other examples of her work are found in the gallery, along with other paper prints and original sketches.

I’m in love with this new piece by Nancy with Buck & Fancy Designs! Even though she’s looking down, there’s something very strong about propose and the colors and the hat and the heavy wood frame. This woman has a story to tell, and I would love to sit and listen to it. You really need to come into the gallery and see all the new work by Nancy that we just put up in the space! I just love it so much. It was the perfect compliment to everything else in the gallery. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM with a special event going on tomorrow night from 5 PM to 8 PM. So come on out! Lots of local vendors, drink trucks outside and some amazing local art.

Y’all! I have been trying for three months to get Buck & Fancy Designs in the space! I have been in love with her work for a long time and it has finally worked out. We are hanging new artwork and I’m so excited to have these beautiful paintings of Texas scenes in the gallery!! you can stop by and see them anytime although the full reveal will be Friday, Aug 7, at our event, 5 to 8 PM so come join us!!!
