Not pictured is a fun upcycled coffee pot turned planter by .plant.lovee that also sold today, so that made for a great day at Caliche Gallery! Alyssa is a wonderful mural artist and the prints we have of hers are snippets (or sometimes the whole thing) of her mural designs. This one was an 11x14 framed art giclée print on watercolor paper framed in a beautiful angled black wood frame. Bluebonnets is a framed art print of a wonderful watercolor by , matted and framed. And Big Bend Blues is a lovely photo by that is a canvas print mounted on gator board edges in a copper trim and resting on a handmade easel constructed from old hay bale wire. Only unique regional art pieces at the gallery! These are all going to a brand new Airbnb in Castroville. We’ll give you the link when we have it. Thank you for supporting Texas artists!

This was a commission for a Christmas gift and then they worked with a framer to get it mounted so I haven’t been able to share the final piece until now. But it was certainly worth the wait! I absolutely love how the framer worked with them to create a plan that works so beautifully with the piece. Thank you for the pictures, Doug!

Kim’s photography captures the Texas I know. The Texas I grew up in and live in now. It’s not at cowboy boots and lone stars. It’s more than that. And it looks very different in different parts of Texas. The Art in gallery is about this south central part of Texas and out Hwy 90 all the way to Big Bend. It is authentic. It’s home.
