I received the sweetest email about Homewood Parks employee Katherine Harper today (pictured here at the recent The Personnel Board of Jefferson County graduation ceremony), and this was the 💥second💥 message I have gotten about this wonderful City employee:

“I would love for someone to know about this sweet, sweet lady who is typically doing yardwork around Lakeshore, Columbiana, Green Springs even up on Broadway sometimes. She always says hello to runners at 5 AM and she is always so happy! She brightens our day! … I just wanted someone with the city to know how amazing she is. ❤️❤️”

We definitely know! Thank you for sharing, and thank you Katherine for your hard work, love of Homewood, and your contagious smile! Even at 5:00 a.m.!
