It’s hard to believe we’re already almost halfway through the year. It feels like The Miss Rodeo Homestead pageant was just yesterday, yet this journey has already brought so much growth, unforgettable memories, and experiences I will always cherish. I am incredibly grateful for the people this title has brought into my life, especially a court that has become such a meaningful part of this journey and some of the best people to share it with.

You fill so many roles for us, and we truly couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for always making sure we look our best, get where we need to be on time, and always have a backup plan for whatever may come our way. Your love, encouragement, and endless support mean more than words can say.

Saturday, we attended the South Florida SPCA’s Open House. This event happens once a year, and it’s truly a special opportunity to see what they do and how they are helping our community.

The SPCA is dedicated to preventing animal cruelty, rescuing and rehabilitating horses and other hoofed friends. We were able to see all the animals they care for and have been given second chances for a better life.

While we were there, we also ran into Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins! It’s so amazing to see influential people in our city supporting organizations like the SPCA.

I really enjoyed visiting all the beautiful animals and learning about what goes on behind the scenes.

Hi guys it’s me, Mackenzie, your 2026 Miss Rodeo Homestead Princess! I’m proud to share the story of one very special horse I ride, Candela. She was a SPCA rescue. Horses like Candela remind us how important rescue organizations are and the incredible second chances they provide.

This Saturday the court and I will be attending the SPCA Open House, and we would love to see you there as we support such an amazing and important organization here in South Florida. 🐴💙

Come out, say hello, and help us celebrate the animals and the people who work so hard to give them a better life!

I had the best time ever at the Orange Blossom Festival Parade and the Davie Rodeo this past weekend! 🧡

My favorite rodeo events are Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Ba****ck Riding, and Barrel Racing because they are so exciting and fun to watch!

I got to meet Miss Southeastern Circuit, Sarah Davis, and Miss Rodeo Idaho, Kyleigh Davis. I also saw one of my biggest role models, RaeLynne Kempfer, who is Miss Rodeo Florida. I always have the best time with my Rodeo Queen Sisters, and it made me so happy!
