Dear Friends,
I am reaching out to ask for your support of our Shakespearean and Thespian Society. Our beloved society is entering its 70th season and will present its 100th production this fall. In celebration of this milestone and to ensure this organization thrives beyond another 70 years, we are forming the Friends of Homer Shakespearean Society, a 501(c)(3) organization.
We are currently building a new website where former cast members can connect, and photos and memorabilia will be showcased. The history long enclosed in a binder will join the 21st century as a place to connect and celebrate.
Alums and community members will be invited to participate in celebratory events throughout this anniversary year, and, if inspired, they will have the opportunity to join The Ghost Light Society, which will support this worthy organization into the future.
I’ve linked our Alumni Survey below. My request is that you share it with as many Society members as you are still personally connected to. We are reaching out to as many former members as possible so we can connect with and involve them in this special year, whether they can attend in person or virtually. If you would prefer that I reach out to them personally, please let me know.

Please reach out with any questions or concerns. Thank you so much for helping us with this effort.
In gratitude,
Karen Dudgeon, President
Friends of Homer Shakespearean and Thespian Society
As the Homer Shakespearean & Thespian Society prepares to celebrate its 70th anniversary and 100th production, we are reconnecting with the generations of students, parents, directors, advisors, and supporters who have been part of this tradition. Whether your involvement was recent or decades ago,....
