CATACHAN DEVIL — ANOMALOUS HIVE EVOLUTION
The jungle went silent.
Then the patrols vanished.
Weapons left standing. No bodies. Blood sprayed high into the canopy, bark stripped bare where something lifted men screaming into the trees. What emerged resembled a Catachan devil—only swollen into a centipede Tyranid nightmare, a towering mass of bone, muscle, and chitin rising above the palms themselves.
It moved on countless limbs, talons scything bodies apart, mandibles grinding flesh and armor into slurry. Lasfire burned furrows in its hide—then sealed shut as it fed. Men were split, pinned, hollowed, harvested.
Nothing escaped.
Nothing was left.
When the screaming stopped, the jungle no longer belonged to Catachan.
It belonged to the Hive.
