Nathan Don Arnold- “a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and cherished friend to so many. He passed away on May 10th, 2026 in Fairbanks, surrounded by family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.”

Nathan joined the Pier One Theatre family in 2024 as an orchestra member for The Addams Family, and Fiddler on the Roof. His joy in exploring this new musical medium was palpable, he was a delight to work with, a fabulous musician, and we are so lucky we got to have him with us for even so brief a time.

Homer friends of Nathan are invited Sunday, June 28, 2 pm at Mariner Park to celebrate the life of Nathan Arnold.

This coming weekend we will host a performance from our Youth Theatre Skills Campers, marking the end of our first round of summer youth theatre camps!

We would like to thank the The Homer Foundation for their longtime support of our Youth Theatre Programs. This year, support comes from the Willow Fund and the KLEPS Fund. Homer Foundation support helps us offer financial aid to any student in need, allowing us to keep camp accessible to all.

“A Script of Many Things,” our Skills Camp show, takes place this Friday at 6:00PM and Saturday at 3:00PM.

Registration is open for the second round of camps:

Theatre Play, for ages 5-7
Stories on the Stage, for ages 8-10
Seldovia Drama Camp, for ages 10-17
Cosmic Hamlets: Shakescene, for ages 11-17
