For me, intuitive movement has been a practice of opening to (and caring for) the subtle energetics of my body.

With practice, I feel my body's subtle energy patterns being redirected and reshaped, in ways that restore a felt-sense of balance and wholeness within. Like an antenna, my body is also connecting with energetic fields beyond my individual self - like that of the soul, ancestors, biosphere, cosmos, the divine. Movement becomes the pathway of communication, and the language is an energetic resonance that orients me toward an expanded sense of self and my purpose here on earth.

This Sunday, I'll be guiding us into the dance space with a warm up practice that is nourishing to the nervous system and empowers us to be in communication with the subtle energies of the body. These simple exercises can be woven into your intuitive movement practice or any time you want to support your wellbeing.

Ease has been a personal intention and theme threaded through each of my experiences at our ecstatic dance gatherings. The clarity of deeply engrained patterns of anxiety and fears within myself have been contrasted by their energetic release and a flow of ease that feels unfamiliar to this nervous system. The group container ecstatic dance and the heart-full humans of our community are the reason I've been able to access this type of gradual repatterning... and for that, I am very grateful to each of you who have felt the call to show up.

While each of our intentions and personal processes look different, there is something undeniably special about sharing space with other humans. Folks who seek to meet themselves authentically, to explore what being in community means, and to learn to listen to the wisdom of the natural world ~ so that we can continually shape our lives to support all life on this exquisite planet for many generations to come, together.
Step by step, our gatherings are intended to be a step 💚

heyooooo ~ is bringing a new elemental collection to this weekend’s dance campout

This collection is an evolution of her first collection ~ and includes 5 mixed element necklaces and bracelets. In her process, she explored our multifaceted nature and how the emotions that we embody shift depending on inner and outer circumstances. Similarly, the elements in the world around us are always interacting and influencing one another. May this collection remind us of our fluid nature and the interconnectedness of it all.

some mushies found at our last ecstatic dance campout at North Star Ridge - Retreat Space 🍄✨

this weekend, we are creating more intentional space to explore and drop in with the land. our sunday morning activity will be a group nature walk ~ in silence! an opportunity to lay down the constructs of the mind, and open to the wisdom that flows when we are calm in our bodies and awake to our interconnected world.

big, unending appreciation for the opportunity to be in a body on this incredibly beautiful and mysterious planet. for the earth holding us as we learn to listen. and for the humans who reverently cared for land, water, and sky as a way of life for thousands of years before us. thank you, thank you, thank you.

Amanda has a decade of experience as a floral artist - and has recently found so much delight in blending her love of tarot and flowers. She is designing flower crowns and hair clips that embody 3 different tarot card energies ~

what a joy it is to share time and space with you all each month… to be encouraged to let go and experience the truth of what’s alive within ourselves. and to be gifted with a glimmer of what’s alive in each other, as we spiral through the cosmos on this wonderfully alive planet.

gathering in community feels like a pathway toward creating many more beneficial pathways ~ ones that bridge divides, build authentic relationships, and bring us closer to being in harmony with the whole.

Katie Steine is the artist behind these stunning pet/animal portraits! 🐶✨

She sees animals as gifts from the universe that teach us how to love unconditionally - and she captures this love using her skills as an artist. Katie begins each custom portrait with a photo of one’s animal, and seeks to illuminate the energy and true essence of the pet’s energy and divine personality. She finishes by infusing each piece with reiki energy, bringing forth even more radiance of the special animal friend.

Katie’s passion for art began in childhood where she dabbled in crafts, drawing, ceramics and painting mostly. Her current favorite pieces to make are pet portraits and family memorial portraits. Katie is also a practicing intern of past life regression therapy, and conducts sessions out of her home. She recently moved to the area with her miniature poodle, sienna, and her miniature cockapoo, luna. Both dogs offer her so much loving inspiration for her creativity to flourish.

Dustin of Autumn Berry Inspired is up to something new… You may know him from his wild fruit jams, puree, and fruit leather made from local invasive Autumn Olive shrubs. While that operation is on pause, Dustin has been making Honeysuckle wooden beads and acoustic sticks, with the name Snek Stix.

Snek Stix involve a fun crafting process of threading sticks and beads onto elastic string and pipe cleaners. Honeysuckle has a thin hollow core and smooth, hard, and light wood that has good acoustic properties and potential for percussion.

Dustin says, “Honeysuckle Wood is an exciting new direction for me to create products that allow people to connect with Nature and enter the flow state of peace and natural creativity that can come from working with and engaging our hands and senses. I hope Honeysuckle Snek Stix can be the beginning of something that can touch and help many people. There are benefits to reevaluating how we divide nature into good and bad in futile expressions of control. And there is joy to be had from sharing the knowledge of how to work with a plant in ways to make something special and desirable.”

Dustin is seeking feedback from our community as he brings this new invention into the world. He will be available on Saturday to connect with and share more.
