I’m thrilled to share that my work will be featured in HYPERCOLOR — opening November 3rd at the Taber Art Gallery at Holyoke Community College.

Curated by Rachel Rushing, this exhibition celebrates the gallery’s 25th Anniversary and the enduring power of color to move, collide, and sing.

Honored to show alongside .sunny, , , and — each exploring color as language, vibration, and testimony.

I’m excited to share that my painting Divers IV will be part of Root/Signal at the Arno Maris Gallery, Westfield State University.

This exhibition leans into something I’ve always believed: the living world has lessons for us. Roots, plants, and currents remind us how to slow down, tune in, and remember how deeply connected we are.

Dates: Sept 30 – Nov 7
Panel + Reception: Oct 2, starting 3:30 pm

Grateful to be showing alongside this amazing group of artists:

Still basking in the glow of last night's incredible artist talk! 🎨✨
Thank you to Nicole Smythe-Johnson (Assistant Professor of Art History & African American & Black Diaspora Studies at Boston University) and Rachel Passannante (Assistant Director + Collections Manager) for such stimulating conversation - we dove deep into process and the Jamaican worldview, exploring what it means to identify a Jamaican diaspora.
Huge gratitude to:

Boston Center for the Arts for hosting
Michelle Stevens (Visual Arts Lead) for coordinating
Natalie de Jesus (Director of ) and Tiarra Inez (Curator at The Huntington African American Museum) for flawless setup
Rebecca Torres (artist, scholar, and President of the Monotype Guild of New England) , Wilhelm Neusser , and everyone who came out

Blown away by the response and support. And thank you to the wonderful staff for making everyone feel welcomed and loved! 🙏
The exhibition continues through November 8th, 2025 - don't miss it!

Thank you so much to the incredible .mcquaid for writing about the show. You words were heartfelt and riviting. This show is truly a group effort. Thanks to for your love and support. Thanks to and for catching the vision and taking it further than I could have imagined. And thanks also to the crew. Much love.

repost via from .mcquaid Fear causes tunnel vision. Painter andraegreenstudios' "Paradise/Mash-up" widens the lens. While the show mashes up moments and places from the life of an immigrant, it’s not Andrae’s immigration story that refutes the Trumpian world view. It’s the breadth of his imagination. My review is in Ocean in a Drop – the link is in my bio and below.

Back in the studio today after a month away. 🙏🏽
Three hours of Zoom still tried to steal the day, but I carved out some painting time—and man, it felt like a breath of fresh air. This is my happy place. My quiet place. My zen. My peace.

Teaching at Hartford Art School these past weeks has been a blessing—guiding and sharing ideas with students is its own gift. But stepping back to the canvas today reminded me why the studio always pulls me home.

As Mark Rothko said, “the best thing a painter can do is find a space to be quiet in.”

Hope you find your quiet place this weekend.
Blessings. Peace and Love. ✨

Friday night was pure magic ✨ Swipe right to see more 👉

Paradise/Mash-Up opened at and my heart is still full. Seeing people connect with these paintings - witnessing that moment when fragmented memories and diasporic stories resonate with others - this is why we create.

From Kingston to Boston, these port cities have shaped my journey, and through paint and canvas, I've tried to capture the beautiful tension between losing and belonging. The "mash-up" continues.

Deepest gratitude to the incredible team who made this possible: and the BCA board and staff, (missed you!), curators and who truly understood the vision, .painting for traveling to be there, and to Priya - my constant light through every doubt and uncertainty. You are my rock. 💙

The show runs through November 8th at Mills Gallery. If you haven't experienced it yet, there's still time to step through these dreamscape portals with me.

It truly takes a village. Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey.

Hey friends I'm so excited to share this great news with you all. My first solo show for 2025 😍

repost via from COMING SOON 🌆🇯🇲 ‘Paradise/Mash-Up’ by opens Friday, August 15 with an opening reception from 6–9pm at BCA’s Mills Gallery.

Curated by & , Paradise/Mash-Up presents a striking collection of new and recent paintings that explore memory, identity, and diasporic longing. Grounded in the tender intimacies of everyday life, Green reflects on his hometown of Kingston, Jamaica and its shared maritime legacy with Boston—two port cities shaped by migration, colonialism, and resilience.

Using fragmented, dreamlike imagery, Green crafts a visual “mash-up”—a Jamaican Patois term meaning broken or transformed—where time and geography blur. These poetic compositions reflect the tensions of diaspora: the search for belonging, the ache of distance, and the beauty found in the in-between.

Opening the same night in the Project Room is ‘Spiritual Technologies’ by . Rooted in Sicilian folk magic, the exhibition explores intergenerational trauma and gendered violence through sculptural works. In their ongoing series Made Real by Process of Annihilation, d’entremont uses burnout casting techniques to transform symbolic objects—charged with inherited pain—into uncanny bronze relics. Both exhibitions are on view August 16–November 8, 2025.

What a night. 🙏🏾
The opening of the annual juried exhibition was packed wall to wall—and somehow, in the middle of all the buzz, I had the surreal joy of hearing people connect with my painting Can I? Would I? Should I?

I’m honored (and still lowkey stunned) to share that the piece was awarded Second Prize.

To my incredible student from MassArt .c.walton who showed up with her family —thank you for the support, it means the world. To the other artists I met tonight—y’all are gems. And to the jurors: thank you for seeing something in my work.

I paint a lot of this stuff in solitude, locked away in memory and imagination. But to see people standing in front of it, feeling something—joy, hope, nostalgia, a question—that’s why I do this.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. 💫
Onward.

Still glowing after tonight and

“Bridges of Belonging - Where Paths Converge.”

Beneath Seven Bridges’ timber beams, old friends, new faces, and neon reflections braided themselves into one long conversation about color, memory, and where we all meet in the middle.

Special shout‑outs to Jamie, , and for steering this ship with grace and good humor—you turned a reception into a reunion.

Swipe to soak up the vibes, and if you’re near Greenwich, drop by before June 26
