“We’ll Meet Again,” a new musical based on the life of Henry Stern, will be staged at Bell Theater at Bell Works in Holmdel for 12 performances from June 18 to 28. This moving and unforgettable production, written by James R. Harris and directed by Daniel Kutner, follows one family’s journey from fear and uncertainty to compassion, friendship and community. It includes popular songs from the 1930s and 1940s, such as “Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy,” “I’ll Be Seeing You,” and more.

HOLMDEL – In 1937 Germany, Heinz Stern’s family members could see the writing on the wall as they witnessed the increasing persecution of Jews in Europe.

We are thrilled to introduce James C. Harris, who will portray **Arthur Stern**, Henry's father, in *We'll Meet Again*.

James is a multifaceted singer and actor based in New York City whose impressive career spans Off-Broadway, regional theater, opera, and concert stages across the country.

Audiences may recognize him from previous Axelrod Performing Arts Center productions including *Sunday in the Park with George* and *Fiddler on the Roof*. His New York credits include the critically acclaimed *An American Soldier*—part of the production that recently received a 2026 GRAMMY Award nomination—as well as Audrey: The New Musical, Secret of the Possible, and Will Wilson Saves the World.

His remarkable performance career also includes productions of Songs for a New World, All Is Calm, Tosca, La bohème, and Oedipus Rex.
