Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), with Nicole Ceballos, is a conditioning program designed to enhance a dancer’s technique by focusing on muscle memory, core stability, alignment, and coordination. Using exercise balls, resistance bands, and other tools, students build strength and flexibility in a safe, controlled environment. PBT is especially effective for improving posture, turnout, and body awareness — all essential elements of classical ballet.

This class is ideal for dancers looking to deepen their technical foundation and support injury prevention. No prior PBT experience required, but a background in ballet is recommended.

On this World Theatre Day, we are so very excited to announce our Summer Musical Theater Dance lineup with Kathleen Pearlberg! 🎭

Teens, adults…all ages~ come join us for our
3-day or 4-day workshops all conveniently taking place at our beautiful Bell Works studio! Miss Kathy makes it fun whether you’re learning new skills or brushing up those you have! 💃🏼🕺🏻

These classes were a summer hit last year so register before they fill up! 🎶

Kathleen Pearlberg is a NJ based choreographer, musical theatre and ballet teacher. Trained at the professional New Jersey School of Ballet, she went on to dance in the New Jersey Ballet Company where she performed pieces by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Jay Norman, Edward Villella, Joseph Carow and George Tomal. She serves as the Ballet Mistress for the professional contemporary ballet dancers of the Axelrod Theater. Choreography credits include Fiddler on the Roof, Kinky Boots, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Jesus Christ Superstar, Peter Pan, Man of LaMancha, Footloose at Algonquin Arts Theater. She was recently the Associate Choreographer for Fiddler on the Roof at Axelrod Performing Arts Center. ♥️

Juliana has performed in Madagascar, Dorothy In Wonderland, Newsies Jr., Mean Girls Jr., Beauty & The Beast Jr., Peter Pan: The Non Flying Version, Spongebob Jr., Legally Blonde Jr., and Frozen Jr. She has volunteered her time helping with her school’s production of Annie Jr. as a choreographer and blocking rehearsals assistant. Beetlejuice Jr. is her first show with APAA!

Julia made her theater debut at the age of 5 in a production of Shrek Jr.! In elementary school, she was cast in the ensemble in Middletown High School North’s Les Misérables, which earned the prestigious Best Overall Musical at the Basie Awards. Julia enjoys shopping, spending time with friends, visiting Starbucks, and playing with her beloved puppy, Teddy!
