Audition for APAA’s production of 13 the Musical coming to the Bell Theater stage this December! Auditions will be held in our Bell Works studio September 23, 26 & 27! Use the link in bio to select your audition date and time! 🗓️

With a catchy rock score from Tony Award-winning composer, Jason Robert Brown, (Parade, The Last Five Years, The Bridges of Madison County) and a hilarious book by Tony winner Robert Horn (Tootsie, Shucked) and Dan Elish (13), 13 JR. tells a timeless story about fitting in - and standing out! ✨

Evan Goldman is plucked from his fast-paced, pr***en New York City life and plopped into a sleepy Indiana town following his parents’ divorce. Now the new kid at school, he needs to establish his place in the popularity pecking order. Can he situate himself on a comfortable link of the food chain... or will he dangle at the end with the outcasts?!? 🌃🎒

A true coming-of-age musical, 13 JR. is made especially for adolescents with a universal message about friendship and being true to yourself. ♥️

From the stage to behind the scenes! ✨

After performing in Mean Girls this July, Bella Yang joined Into the Woods as a production intern, where she is learning all the different pieces that bring a show to life. She also took on a special marketing project and discovered even more of the magic that happens offstage! 
At the Academy, education at every level is at the heart of who we are, and we love giving our students opportunities to learn, explore and grow both onstage and behind the scenes! ♥️
