The Downtown Hollywood Mural Project is located in Downtown Hollywood, Florida and is Broward's largest exterior contemporary art mural project.

Launched by the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency in August of 2012, the Downtown Hollywood Mural Project is the largest walkable mural project in Broward County. Featuring renowned local, national and international artists, DHMP is a key element in
the Community Redevelopment Agency’s arts-focused initiative to enhance the diversity and vibrancy of Downtown Hollywood, Florida. Named “Best

Public Art 2013” by New Times Broward, Project Manager Jill C. Weisberg curates contemporary outdoor murals at key locations in Downtown Hollywood which enhances and enriches the existing cultural fabric of the Downtown community. Strategically placed murals create points of interest that stimulate activity and improve the Downtown economy. Local business benefit by having more traffic and people that live or work in the community benefit by having compelling works of art that are constantly visible. Local property owners are empowered and integral in the artist selection process. A notable highlight to the third Saturday Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk is the monthly DHMP mural tour. The tour is free and open to the public and often times features a muralist at work on their wall. During the tour these working muralists engage the public and discuss
their work. Private mural tours are available on request.
