Some race weekends are better than others.

An unknown fellow competitor oiled down the race track approaching turn 6 in front of us on the first lap; the track officials see this in time to warn us of the situation resulting in our driver losing control and crashing into the guardrail in turn 6.

Unfortunately we are done for the weekend; it’s back to the shop as we repair the car and tack on a few improvements.

We’re looking forward to repairing the car and getting back on track in 10 weeks.

Next up is back here at Watkins Glen International Sept 10-13 for the SVRA Watkins Speedtour and the weekend following at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for the Historic Sportscar Racing Classic10 & Fall Historics.

Lastly, thanks & a big shout-out to Watkins Glen International for the quick response and making sure our driver was safe.
