🌸 I DECIDED TO LIVE UNAPOLOGETICALLY 🌸
I decided to live unapologetically. Not because life is perfect or because everything is in its place, but because one day I understood that simply continuing to walk even slowly and still being able to breathe is already reason enough.
🌸
I am no longer thirty, forty, or fifty years old, but that stopped mattering when I realized that living unapologetically does not require youth; it requires a positive attitude and awareness.
🌸
Living unapologetically is waking up and being grateful, even when the body aches a little. It is drinking your coffee slowly, even if it gets cold. It is looking out the window and finding beauty in a cloud, a bird, or the silence.
🌸
Living unapologetically is not about having everything; it is learning to enjoy what you have, without comparing yourself, without rushing, without demanding more from life than what it can give you today.
🌸
Before, I wanted more things, more certainty, more people. Today I want peace and a calm environment. Today I want moments of happiness, honest conversations, and laughter that comes from deep within. Today I want to know that my children and grandchildren, even from far away, still remember me.
🌸
Today I embrace my wrinkles because they tell my story, the difficult moments I had to overcome, and my nostalgia because it reminds me where I come from and the unforgettable moments of sadness and happiness.
🌸
I have learned that age does not take anything away from you; it teaches you. It teaches you to let go, to choose better, to stay with what truly matters. It teaches you that small things are actually enormous: warm bread, an old song, a flower growing where no one planted it.
Today I enjoy this little moment because I can still feel, remember, and love. Because this heart, although patched and repaired, still beats. And that alone is a miracle.
🌸
So yes, I decided to live beautifully. With scars, with pauses, with faith. Without rushing. Without masks. With gratitude. Because while there is life, there will always be reasons.
