Holly, Mich., had not had an organized and consistently producing theatre company for nearly 50 years, since the late 1960's. That changed in 2010, when Joe and Linda Mishler set off to achieve a life-long dream and founded the Blue Heron Theatre Company, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit corporation to bring quality stage productions to the Northwest Oakland County area. The Blue Heron Theatre Co
mpany produces around five shows per year, ranging from comedies to dramas, favorites of stages everywhere and new original productions written by Joe Mishler himself.
