Contracts have been awarded to a few members, but most are still available. Our next audition is this Wednesday at 5P.M. to 9P.M. come and join us.

Quick surprise announcement. Students who are interested in being visual performers should attend our 3rd audition. Our instructor for them just got cleared by the district. Hope to see you all there.

We will be announcing our show this Monday at 4:30 in the band room. All who want to be in the group should attend (visual performers, you have a very cool part to play). Parents, you are welcome to attend, but not required.

We are happy to announce that Lauren Hickman will be teaching our visual performers this year. Lauren is currently the color guard coach at Utica High School where she graduated from in 2020. She has been spinning for 6 years. She is currently an Oakland University student who is an elementary education major with a math endorsement hoping to become a middle school math teacher. In her free time, she loves to read and play with her two golden retrievers Cloe and Addi. Lauren is currently waiting on district approval to attend rehearsals.

This Monday we will start awarding contracts to students who have been selected to join the ensemble. Contracts for winter groups are not legally binding. They are agreements that the student will participate in this ensemble. They have important information such as the payment schedule, important dates, what the ensemble provides, and what the student is expected to provide.

Our payment schedule for this season has been slightly adjusted with the new rehearsal dates:

Hello everyone,
Students interested in being visual performers should not show up to our 2nd and 3rd auditions. We have an instructor for them, but due to unforeseen circumstances they will not be able to attend those two auditions. Sorry for the late notice but we just found out my self this evening.

Hello everyone,

We are less than 24 hours from our first audition and we are super excited to start our season. With that said, We have some very big news. We have updated our schedule. We will now be rehearsing on Thursdays and Fridays 5 to 9. We know many of you were playing on us rehearsing on Mondays and Wednesdays, and already planned your schedules around that. We are sorry for how long this took to get out, we know how disruptive this can be. We originally wanted to be rehearsing on those dates but we were not able to get enough days with access to the gym. We had to wait for the athletic schedule to come in first. We wanted to announce this sooner, but we did not know for sure that we would get these Thursdays and Fridays. Therefore some of our rehearsals will be at the Karl Richter Center (KRC).

Additional reminders:
Please have either the battery or front line packet printed out and looked over or memorized for tomorrow.
We will be meeting in the band room at 9 in the morning.
There will be a lunch break from noon to 1, pizza will be provided.

Hello everyone, I have some good news and bad news to report. Bad news is that we will not be having a clinic this year due to scheduling conflicts. The good news is that our audition dates are locked in and will not be changing. Students interested in being visual performers should not attend the 1st audition, but should show up to the rest of them. Can't wait to see you all at our auditions!
