Evan Slater and Mike Skeen captured their 2nd podium co-driving the No.60 Ford Racing Mustang GT4 with KohR Motorsports after finishing P2 in Saturday’s Virginia Is For Racing Lovers Grand Prix at VIRginia International Raceway.

Whether you call it strategy, experience, luck, or just living on a prayer. Mike Skeen willed our Ford Mustang GT4 over the finish line on VP Racing fumes for a Ford Racing 1-2 finish behind Gregory Liefooghe in the no.19 Cameron Racing Ford Mustang GT4.

Evan Slater and Mike Skeen will start P8 in the Forgeline No.60 Ford Mustang GT4

Bob Michaelian and Billy Johnson will start P19 in the Freedom Finance No.59 Ford Mustang GT4.

Shout out to our KOHR KREW for working hard to maintain, repair, replace and prep both cars for today’s IMPC event. “During Practice 1 of the Virginia Is For Racing Lovers Grand Prix this morning, our Freedom Finance No.59 Ford Mustang GT4 had an unscheduled meeting with the outside tire wall due to Mother Nature’s down pouring of H2o at Turn 14.

Our drivers are okay.

KohR Motorsports crew is working hard to rebuild the Ford Racing Mustang GT4 in order to qualify and compete in this weekend’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge at VIRginia International Raceway Saturday, August 22nd.”

Our patriotic Ford Mustang GT4s are back on track next week at VIRginia International Raceway for more IMSA in Alton, VA.

No.59 co-drivers Billy Johnson & Bob Michaelian along with No.60 co-drivers Evan Slater and Mike Skeen will compete in next weekend’s 2 Hour “Virginia Is For Racing Lovers Grand Prix” 2:15PM ET Saturday, August 22nd.

No.58 driver Ray Mason, will compete in the VP Racing Fuels SportsCar Challenge sprint races on Saturday and Sunday.
