Reminiscing JUNE classes completed these cards!
One was a pop out card, a slim line card and last but not least
This delightful 3 layer fold out card.

Techniques learned…..how to stamp on printed paper
How to make a pop out for inside a card
How to make a 3 layer interactive card

Such fun we had learning something new, fellowshiping, and sharing a common denominator! Some even learned a few new things at class that were old to me.
Thats what class is all about.

April was a great month for doing great cards since it seemed
to rain almost every other day in the month.
The most favorite card of the month was this easel card using
THE GROVE DIES which are still available in the new catalog even though the dsp is gone and ON THE HORIZON stamp set. What a powerful concept of color and nature.
Also a good way to use those hard to use prints we all have laying around!
Here are few examples of different colors used and script. This was a lovely way to start spring with baby deer and trees!

We doubled up the dies by cutting them from 2 different papers but you must remember to reverse the bottom one.

Mini Stamp and Emboss machine is on sale for the first time.

If you are not familiar with it, it is a mini version of our large one
Meaning you can use it while you are making your cards.
Now it is narrower so only the small embossing folders go thru.
Most all dies unless extremely large will go thru quickly.

This is a great accent to the crafter who wants to work quickly and efficiently.

This months focus will be on autumn. So I chose # NATURES HARVEST stamp set . Nothing is better than multiple ideas for the same set. So first I will post the stamp set itself. Some ladies could’t figure what one of the images was.

The main one was one of coneflowers, or black eyed susans, or daisies depending on how you see it. Then there is a small spray of asters which are generally dark purple or pink, and then last on the right is a splotch which is an image of dried leaves. This could be used as gound or leaves under the other flowers.

We did one card with circle center focus and I created an alternative using more flower, and elements to make the card special. I thought VERY VANILLA was a great choice for this card . We also stamped the envelope with an image from the set.

There are sooooo many ways to use SU sets and dies. Absolutely loved the sentiment we chose on this get well or sympathy card.
SENDING HEALING THOUGHTS
MAY NATURES BEAUTY BRING PEACE TO YOUR SOUL.
Just love when SU combines script with print for their greetings.
Which is how this is done.
We used dsp from the # Harvest Meadow Suite, brushed metallic dots for the gems, stamping blends in old olive, crumb cake, polished pink and soft suede.

I love how SU dies are so crisp and clean cutting. COLORED CONTOUR DIES were used in this project. We used the gorgeous scalloped edge one in vanilla for this project.

Here it is August already and the peaches are ripe. You can smell them when you walk by if they are .
We just finished classes where we did a book style peach card
We learned shading with the NEW blending brushes which are just 12.00$. You cannot beat that and receive 3 of them.

We stamped the peach in PALE PAPAYA and shaded the left and right with Flirty FLAMINGO. Aways start off the image and swirl in circles moving toward what you want to achieve. It will be perfect.
