HOLLIS ARTSPACE WELCOMES FALL WITH NEW CLASSES AND A COMMUNITY AWARD

Hollis Artspace is heading into fall with new classes, new teachers, returning favorites—and some exciting news. For the second year in a row, Hollis Artspace has been voted Best of the Best for Art Studio/Instruction in the Best of the Greater Merrimack-Souhegan Valley awards.

“We’re very grateful,” said owner Anna Birch. “Hollis Artspace has grown because of the wonderful community around us—our students, families, teachers, artists, staff, and neighbors. Being recognized by that community for two years in a row means a lot.”

The Fall 2026 schedule is now open, with a wide variety of classes and workshops for adults, teens, homeschoolers, and younger students. Offerings include watercolor, oil and acrylic painting, drawing, mixed media, felting and fiber arts, visible mending, mixed media, cartooning, crochet, printmaking, and more. Classes start on September 14th.

New teachers are also joining the Artspace this fall, including Amherst artist and educator Christine Blain-Cohn, who will teach Artists’ Toolbox classes for homeschool and afterschool students, along with adult drawing & mixed-media series, like Inktober inspired ink offerings and gelatin plate printmaking.

Students can choose from multi-week classes as well as individual workshops, with daytime and evening options and offerings for beginners through experienced artists.

“We really want there to be lots of different ways to come make art here,” Birch said. “You can try something for one evening, take a class for several weeks, come with a friend or family member, or just be brave and come yourself! We don't bite.”

Hollis Artspace is located at 30 Ash Street in Hollis, NH, with classroom and studio spaces as well as a gallery and shop featuring local and regional artists.
