Work on the Hollis Equestrian Park cross-country jump course has begun! We’ve made a really good start tackling the extensive work required to bring the course back into shape. The initial phase of ground work has been completed, including removing rotten logs, grubbing out brush, and cutting low-hanging branches. We can’t say THANK YOU loud enough to show appreciation to Nate Scammon for his expert excavator work! The next step is to do some aggressive mowing so we can see the topography better and proceed to fixing existing jumps. This renovation is a work in progress and is going to take a couple of years, but we hope to have 6-8 jumps re-built and usable by the end of the season. Thanks to the HEP Board for taking on this project.
