Imagine my surprise when, during a trip many years ago to Philadelphia, city of brotherly love, home of the liberty bell... the city did not have public access television. Fortunately, a group of visionaries pulled together and created a vibrant community media center. Sad to read one of the key movers of this initiative has passed.

For 40 years, beginning in 1986, she was a community media activist, TV and radio programmer, production consultant, producer, filmmaker, radio host, mentor, and volunteer.
