I use a method referred to as ‘surrealist automatism.’ This is a way of creating in which I suppress conscious control over my process, allowing the unconscious mind to lead. What you see in my paintings is a direct reflection of you. My paintings are made to be Rorschach inkblot tests. Throughout our lives, we see completely different scenes and scenarios in the same painting to better help us understand ourselves at that particular moment.
The creatures & symbols reveal themselves as a means of healing through a series of mindful messes that I make. Many significant messages otherwise hidden, overlooked, or lost in our subconscious are shared through this therapy. I channel the client while I paint, so that it is personalized on multiple levels.
Prices start at $222 and go up from there depending on budget and size preference. I will invite you to share one suggestion for the theme of the piece. Once completed, you’ll have the option to purchase. Down payments are not necessary. Simply message me and you will be put on the list. Allow 1-3 months for completion.
