Our Aunt Nance went Home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, February 13. We will forever miss her humor, her wit, her conversation, her random stops at our house, her planned stops at our house, her cookies, her latest «Did you hear about…?»s, her company, her smile, her laugh, her click of her tongue with a sigh (when she’s annoyed or bothered by something), her honest opinions, her stories, her genuine care for our family, her stories about family from years ago, her love for all of her family, her perfect handwriting (from years of teaching cursive to 2nd graders), her puppy chow, her beauty mark (mole😄) on her hand that acted as the button to make her hand dance, her love for sports, her birthday rhymes, her presence at all of our boys’ activities and events, her genuine excitement in being there, her «Don’t wait for me»s, her Christian example, and so much more. While my Lion cut-out was used last night at Crissey Parents' Club's Kindergarten Orientation table, for the new 23-24 Crissey Lion Cubs, I was at home, drawing caricatures for the outgoing 3rd graders who will be moving up to the Intermediate School next year. ❤️

I had a fun time drawing faces at Pettisville's After-Prom! I met some great kids, too. Many of them are looking forward to the last day of school, and the seniors were happy to share plans of "what's next" with us. Whether they're excited about going to college, finding a place in the workforce, or joining the military, we wish them all well! Thank you, Pettisville Schools, for inviting me to your event.
