PTOM JR. PERFORMER SIGN-UPS ARE OPEN!

We’re filling the lineup for our next Park Theatre Open Mic Jr. on Sunday, September 20.

Kids and teens can sign up for a 15-minute spot to sing, play music, tell jokes, read poetry — whatever they’d like to share onstage.

All experience levels are welcome. PTOM Jr. is all about giving young people a fun, supportive place to perform, try something new, and express themselves.

You might recognize Fuzzbuster from the PTOM stage.

Ben from the band is also the creative who first brought Jair the idea that eventually became Shorts & Sounds — and helped us put this first one together.

This Saturday, Fuzzbuster is back at the Park for the first-ever Shorts & Sounds — a night of independent short films + live music.

For over a decade, Park Theatre Open Mic has been a weekly celebration of self-expression, creativity, and community at the historic Park Theatre in Downtown Holland.

Every Tuesday, people from West Michigan and beyond come together to share music, poetry, comedy, stories, live art, and all kinds of self-expression.

Performers get up to 15 minutes on stage. Vendors and live artists are welcome too. Or just come hang, grab some Back Alley Pizza and a drink, and be part of the room.

Be yourself.
Express yourself.

The Mannequins have become pretty good friends of the Park... and this Saturday they’re doing something a little different.

For Shorts & Sounds, they’ve written an original live score to The Squatter — a short film by Maddox McDonald, starring their own Grant McKenzie. The film will play on the big screen while the band performs the score live in the room. 🔥

Shorts & Sounds is a new night curated by Jair Driesenga + Ben Johnson from Fuzzbuster, bringing together a super unique lineup of short films and live bands on the historic Park Theatre stage.

We're filling spots for the next PTOM Jr. on Sunday, September 20!

Park Theatre Open Mic Jr. is our kids & teens version of PTOM — a chance for young performers to get up on the Park Theatre stage, share what they do, and get some real experience performing in front of a supportive crowd.

Music, comedy, poetry, dance, magic... whatever they love to do. Each performer gets up to 15 minutes, and there's no audition or experience required.
